La Duquesa is a good resort course which provides value for money. Players can enjoy a layout that isn't too challenging in parts, set against a back-drop of the Mediterranean coastline with views of Gibraltar and Africa. It is a varied course that can be enjoyed by players of all levels. La Duquesa is as much a test of patience and strategy as anything, where the prudent choice is often a conservative play from the tee, as the fairways are tight in places. A hilly course, where the coastal winds can play havoc, particularly at the higher points.
The La Duquesa Golf Course opened in 1986 and was designed by Robert Trent Jones.
