Mar Menor Golf

Based in Murcia, Costa Blanca

Mar Menor Golf Course is part of the Jack Nicklaus trail. Although the first nine holes were designed by David Thomas; this set requires good shots to put the ball on the fairways and the greens are well protected by bunkers and the surrounding lakes. The back nine holes designed by Nicklaus Design have wide fairways and great holes, deserving a special mention to his own ‘amen Corner ‘, a spectacular lake surrounding the holes 13, 14 and 15, making the water the biggest obstacle to overcome. The rest of the holes are protected by strategic bunkers. If you decide to play this Course designed by two major designers, you can enjoy two sensations of play in the same Golf Course.

The Mar Menor Golf Course opened as 9 hole Course in 2005 and was designed by Dave Thomas.  The second 9 hoes opened in 2009 and was designed  by Jack Nicklaus.
