Santa Maria Golf

Situated 5 minutes from the centre of Marbella, on the coastal road towards Fuengirola.

Santa Maria is consistently a great course, each hole has its own character and is set in stunning surroundings with delightful views of the mountains and the Mediterranean. Beautiful fairways follow the natural contours of the river bed and offer a challenging round of golf.

Set alongside a pine and oak forest, the course traces the contours of two valleys and the plentiful natural vegetation, streams and four lakes provide natural hazards. This popular, user-friendly course has spacious greens and elevated tees.

Santa Maria Golf & Country Club, as the name suggests, is far more than a Golf Club. Based around an 18th century “Cortijo” which is currently the Club House, the grounds boast stunning gardens and fine leisure facilities including tennis and lawn bowling.

The 1st 9 hole at Santa Maria Golf Course opened in 1991 and were designed by Antonio Garcia Garrido. The 2nd 9 holes opened in 1996 and were designed by the golf clubs own technical team.
