Estepona Golf
Based in Estepona, between Sotogrande and Marbella.
Estepona Golf provides a fair test enjoyed by golfers of all standards. There are 18 very different holes over a good lay-out, with consistent putting surfaces.
The course features some very strong Par 3s including the very difficult but beautiful 14th hole with the Sierra Bermeja mountain range as a back drop. The tempting signature hole is the short par 4 10th where the green is almost surrounded by water. At only 250 meters from an elevated tee, it can be played by simply laying up with a mid iron - but many brave souls are teased into going for it!
Estepona Golf is an extremely friendly place and the clubhouse has recently benefited from a 400,000 euro renovation, where a superb selection of multinational food, wine and drinks are available in the comfortable restaurant, bar and terrace. Further investment has began with a complete upgrade on the golf course drainage systems and improved fairways.
The Estepona Golf Course opened in 1989 and was designed by José Luis López Martinez.
