Club de Golf Escorpion is set amongst a stunning orange grove in a valley lined with pine trees and with 5 beautiful lakes.
The ‘Masia’ Course is fairly flat and favours technical play. 2 lakes come into play on holes 5,6, 8 and 9 and there is a abundance of flora and fauna. The ‘Lagos’ Course favours water. The 8th hole, Par 3 is known as ‘The Demon’, the water is on the right and accompanies the tee to the green, but halfway on the left there is also water and a larger bunker also protects the green. The ‘Nuevos’ Course is more undulating and slightly easier for the high handicapper. The impressive views of the Sierra Calderona mountains contribute to the beauty of this Course. The greens are slightly raised but not too difficult to navigate. The bunkers are large and will always come into play for both the amateur and the professional player.
The Escorpion Golf Course opened in 1975 and was designed by Ron Kirby. In 2000 the 3rd set of 9 holes were added and designed by Alfonso Vidar.
