Sherry Golf

Sherry Golf provides a challenge for both amateurs and professionals alike. The wide fairways and the spacious greens bestow on Sherry Golf the class of a luxurious course.

An American style Course, fairly young with a modern layout. There are some stunning views of the Sherry-growing vineyards and many beautiful lakes and bunkers (one in the shape of a horses head in reference to the world famous performing horses of the region) that protect the greens.

Sherry Golf Course is beautifully designed into the local landscape and the greens and fairways are in good condition,

The front 9 is set into the side of a hill and you have to deal with significant changes in elevation and plenty of shots with the ball above or below your feet. The first hole, 400 yards straight uphill, will get your heart rate soaring if you're not in a buggy.

The back 9, however, is much flatter and different in character, with water coming into play on 7 of the holes. The stretch of holes from 13 to 16 is one of the most demanding you will ever see, with water absolutely everywhere, often on both sides of the fairway.

The Sherry Golf course opened in 2004 and was designed by Stirling and Martin (Global Golf Company).
