With its 54 holes, Novo Sancti Petri Golf Course is one of the biggest and best equipped golf resorts in Europe. We have become very popular both at home and abroad. A place for you to discover! Water hazards, pine, olive and cork trees, juniper berry shrubs, bunkers, and a sea breeze, all add to the beauty and difficulty of the game.

Novo Sancti Petri is proud of its team of green-keepers who have worked their hardest for many years to keep the golf courses at an unbeatable standards all year round. Many different plant species such as wild orchids have found their place here, and a variety of indigenous wildlife, especially birds, may be spotted  on our golf course. Be assured; Our golf courses offer a challenge for golfers of all levels.

When the game is over, our large, inviting facilities call for a rest. Our terraces with marvellous views and our pleasant clubhouses, will give you the chance to share the experiences of the day enjoying a glass of fine wine and our popular, local tapas.

 

The Novo Sancti Petri Golf course has 54 holes. Course A opened in 1990, Course B opened its first 9 holes in 1990 and the second 9 holes in 2001. Courses A and B were designed by Severiano Ballesteros. Course C opened its first 9 holes in 1985, these were designed by Bryan Griffiths. The second 9 were added in 2007 .

 

Course A; Mar & Pinos

18 holes, Par 72

In Course A - the popular Mar y Pinos course (Sea and Pine Trees) you will find 4 par-3 holes, 10 par-4 holes and 4 par-5 holes. The holes 1-9 offer wide fairways and three lakes. The green at hole 6 must be mentioned particularly, since it is situated on the coast. The holes 10-18 are surrounded by stone pines and without water hazards. 

The first 9 holes are found in spacious fairways allowing you to savour the feeling that you are finally on holiday. The views over beautifully designed water hazards prepare you for our breathtaking hole number 6, with its green located just over a large, sandy beach.

Hole 9 leads you past our clubhouse and caddie master to the challenging pine tree round. Here you will have to overcome some natural pine tree hazards. On the other hand, you will not be faced with any water ones.

Course B; Centro & Centro Nuevo

18 holes, Par 72

In this varied round ,there are 6 par-3 holes, 6 par-4 holes and 6 par-5 holes. The first 9 holes, just opposite the caddie master are flat, with a large water hazard between holes number 5, 8 and 9. From the 10th to the 13th hole, the ground is slightly undulating, offering some excellent views over the Atlantic Ocean. 

There are also some water hazards between the 10th and 13th hole. Holes number 5 to 13 where the ones opened in 2001. Betweeen the 14th, 15th and 16th hole there is yet another large water hazard. Last but not least, on hole number 18, the designer of the course has immortalized himself by leaving us a bunker in the shape of an "S" for Severiano.

Course C; Campano

18 holes, Par 72

In 2006, the original project was resumed, setting up the remaining 9 holes to finally conclude a championship course with 18 top class holes. Its design meets all expectations for both professional as well as amateur players. The old rule "difficult par, easy bogey" has been the maxim when laying out this course.  

The golf course is characterized by its abundant vegetation. The first 9 holes are played on a parkland course surrounded by the wonderful, large villas of San Andrés housing estate. In this area you will need accurate and long strokes to overcome the pine woods and the water hazards. In the second round, the numerous, aged, olive trees and three large ponds will come into play. The broad greens will incite you to excel yourself once and again.
