Alicante Golf Course

Based in Alicante, Costa Blanca

Alicante Golf is located at the foothills of the ‘Sierra Grossa’ mountains, close to San Juan Beach and only 5 minutes from Alicante City Centre.

The design incorporates 5 large attractive lakes which come into play on 12 of the 18 holes, wide tree lined fairways and a relatively level terrain. The Course is a fair test for players of all levels. Alicante Golf has an interesting feature on the 14th hole; to reach the green, the shot is played over the ruins of the ‘Villa Ferrer’, a Roman country house from 1 BC that was discovered during the course construction.

Alicante Golf is a natural ecosystem. The lakes, trees and shrubs attract a huge number of wildlife, resulting in some interesting sights as you tour the Course.

The Alicante Golf course opened in 1998 and was designed by Seve Ballesteros. The Course also went through a major overhaul from 2004 to 2008.
